easifleet’s primary impact on the environment is related to the direct emissions our fleets and vehicles have in their operations. We are therefore focused on taking a leadership role in the management of energy efficient vehicles.

easifleet can calculate estimated CO² emissions on your vehicles. This calculation is based on specific vehicle description, published consumption figures, estimated kilometers and fuel type. Our corporate emission reporting uses the fuel consumption figures received from fuel-card transactions and applies the same formula. The novated lease quoting process also incorporates a carbon offset provision. All novated lease clients are asked to make a conscious decision about their carbon emissions.

easifleet has assisted numerous large fleet owners to optimise their energy efficiency through encouraging attention to such matters as choice of fuel type and tyre inflation awareness. In 2002, easifleet received the Commonwealth Government’s Energy Efficiency Best Practice Award for its efforts in assisting Main Roads Western Australia to reduce its fleet’s emissions. This was a groundbreaking achievement for a privately owned fleet company at a time when climate change, oil prices and CO² emissions were still struggling to make headlines.
